Oh yea I almost forgot saying I was going to

Oh yea I almost forgot saying I was going to check in here every day lol. Struggling big time. My pink cloud left me. Realizing that I need to move to a different area. It's just a matter of time before things go bad where I'm at. I'm isolating and I just ditched a meeting that I've been looking forward to all week. This is not good.

Hey Chad,
Chase it man!! You won't regret it! Now the real work begins! You can do this!! Just keep doing the next right thing and don't listen to your head! I know how hard it is not to isolate..

When I felt a curtain kind of way before I really started posting here I would come in read other people’s posts. That gave me courage and hope that I could do this too. Now it has been 20 days but I know myself I’m not out of the woods until I reach 30+days my personal goal. You can do this. We’re all doing this together so you will never be alone.

Every morning I know that if I use the tools I’ve learned so far, I can make it until I go to sleep without a drink.

I tried moving away from my problems but I’ll be damned if they didn’t come with me everywhere.

Thanks I need it. And I'm trying to make ot an automatic response to reach out, which as you know takes time but I'm seeing that it's coming more naturally. When I first started my recovery I was scared to death because I just couldn't do it. Now I can and there's a lot of hope gained there.

Thats true it's just that I'm a block away from.. i go way around every day but it's just to easy to get from here I feel like a sober house would be good I'm I Denver there's a lot of them. Idk

My ex relapsed after 6.5 years clean. If you look for it you’ll find it even if it takes a little bit of work. The key is to dedicate yourself to recovery and put that addiction into remission 24 hours at a time.

It’s not geography that puts us close to using. Drugs and alcohol are everywhere. It’s straying from our program. It’s getting overconfident in our recovery.

I’m not telling you not to move. That’s none of my business or concern. I’m just letting you know that I’m my experience changing zip codes did very little.

Hang on to whatever seat you can find. There is nothing that using can’t make worse.

This is a time .where we hit meetings harder stay on top of things. 90 meetings 90 days.then do it again.

One hour at a time.....reach out to a fellow addict. I find helping someone else, helps me. Pray for strength. Stay the course.
