Okay, I've been trying not to drink, on a daily basis. Haven't been successful....but I have been sticking with restrictions I've set for myself. What, besides AA, can help me achieve sobriety. 5-8 shots everyday can't be ok, but better than a bottle.

Honestly, the fact that you’re showing up here and saying you want to change is huge. That’s the real first step. Next… don’t try to do this alone though. Find support, and stay connected with this community, a recovery coach, or even just a few people you trust.
Build a routine that protects your sobriety. Change your environment if you need to. Replace the habits that lead you to drink with ones that help you grow. You don’t need to have it all figured out. you just need to keep showing up and trying.
