I don't know if I necessarily agree with the truth bomb. I definitely see where the passion and emotions coming from. People are dying left and right obviously. But our literature says in our first 164 pages, our hats off to you if you think you can drink like a normal person. I get my panties more in a twist when someone starts identifying as a member of AA in the public eye. Best of my recollection, Demi Lovato never said any such 11 tradition violation.

Make no mistake about it, I'm Akron sober. I don't take anything that affects me from the neck up, unless it's prescribed by a doctor who knows I am in recovery.

Bottom line, is somebody thinks that he or she can smoke weed like a lady or a gentleman, and you are happy, joyous and free, my hat's off to you.

In my opinion, too much attention paid to personalities, rather than the principles. Glad she's sober. Glad she did not violate the 11 tradition. I got no problem If somebody thinks they can smoke, weed like a lady or a gentleman, my hat's off to you as it says in our big book the first 164 pages.

I identify as cali sober. My doctor had me an kpins and then Ativan once I got sober. Kpins were terrible to come off of. Smoking is perfect for my anxiety and depression. I donā€™t smoke a ton tho. One puff in the am. And a few puffs before bed. It levels me out the way I need to be, without being on benzos or self medicating with alcohol.

When I think of sober I think the traditional sense , totally abstinence
