On a positive note my sober people the urges to do drugs are slowly fading. After 5 and a half months.Hang in there everyone it gets a little easier with time. Good thing it’s winter and i dont like being out in the cold. So staying home makes it a little easier

Yup ... Addiction looses it's grip when the recovery takes hold. That has been my experience. I honestly don't feel like using, and feel better the more meetings I attend.
I heard tonight that the opposite of addiction is connection. My addiction isolated me. My recovery surrounds me with like minded people. The message is Hope the promise is Freedom from active addition.
