On methadone for 8 years! Was using on top of it for a while until last week when I had emergency spinal surgery!!! I’ve just been using my methadone and in the way im supposed to. But, I’m craving and I’ve been contacted by people who can help me get out of this pain more. What do I do????
The reason you are asking this question will tell you the answer. Also take a look at all you have to lose. I look at the profile picture of you and your kids and realize that you have tocfeel the pain they are living. If you think you won't lose in the end you are kidding yourself. Look to God for support and find a support person to help you stay on track. Make sure to let these people that want to " so called HELP" you are clear not to reach out to you anymore and that you are serious about your recovery. As this is a life or death decision. Get into a program and stay connected spiritually through a church group and go as much as you can. Stay on track no matter what. Dedication and time and you will see the glory in many ways. Life is good and you and your family deserve this.
