On such a special holy day like Resurrection Sunday AKA Easter, we are reminded of how Jesus was an overcomer and is a great example of trusting in our Heavenly Father! Keep fighting & being overcomers, one day at a time🙏🏽

As for Jesus, not only was he an overcomer, but he helped those who needed help. With my experience in life, I to helped those who needed it. However, my alcoholism caused me to have expectations that someday they would help me. When they didn’t I became resentful, angry and bitter. I drank even more.
My kindness was only for selfish gain.
Jesus helped with no expectations of ever getting something in return from them.
Today I will help those who needed it and are willing to receive it with zero expectations of getting something in return.

Heavenly Father, We pray for those who are still struggling with their addiction.
Lord, We pray for our families and friends to have safe travels today. God, we pray that you remove any fear from those who are frightened. Higher power, We pray for those who are trying sobriety, for the first time, to give themselves to you, to abandon their old ideas and ways, to seek a spiritual program, to listen to those who share their experiences with alcoholism and live to a joyous life. We pray for all of these people in the name of Christ Jesus, Amen :pray:
