I want to stay clean and be working on my recovery. My partner thinks that by giving me fentanyl that he is just helping my pain and I can keep my clean time. He does not seem to understand that it does not work like that. I need 0 substances for me to be clean. I'm back to square one, yet again. This is exhausting. I'm tired of living with somebody who does not think they are an addict. I need to get back to fully working on myself and my recovery to better myself and be happy with myself. I need to figure out how to get through to him that he needs to stop giving it to me. Any ideas would be fantastic.
This may be out of line but I really think if you can't get through to him and he really loves you allegedly then he don't really care he's too deep in his recovery and he don't want to get sober and your best bet for you in my opinion is to move on and do you if you really want to get sober you need to do what's best for you right now and move on I'm sorry to have to say something like that but from what I can read here your best bet is to move on he's not ready to get clean nor does he want to get clean I have faith in you find the path that you need to be on put all your faith in God and he'll point you in the right direction you just got to have open eyes to see what path he wants you want and believe with all your heart and he'll set things right
You honestly are probably right in what you have to say. I'm gonna have to dig deep and get as much strength together that I can in order to do that. Thank you for being honest.
