On week 2 of no drinking πͺ:sparkles:
still repulsed by alcohol strangely or anything that smells of it but Iβm not complaining
You're tougher baby girlβ¦
Thank you
Thatβs great Taylor! Have you tried any meetings or anything else thatβs helping you? I only ask bc I think itβs important that you find some sober friends to bond with. I got sober at 24 and I remember the weekends being tough until I met a few friends in my general age group in AA. It was still a bit lonely at times, but it helped so much to not feel like I was the only one in the world who couldnβt drink. Whatever you are doing, itβs obviously working for you. Keep it up and continue to grow and learn

Meetings donβt help me because honestly I donβt relate to 95% of people in there. I may be 25 but I grew out of my bar/party phase earlier in life, so that doesnβt bother me lmao Iβm more weak for a drink at a restaurant than a bar honestly but honestly Iβve just been more open about having a drinking problem to the people around me and theyβre supportive and Iβm a traveler so being in a new town helps. And seeing my landlords 16 yr old niece drink and party multiple days of the week has been positive for me because it reminds me why I donβt want to especially seeing her hungover
That's awesome. Should make this lifestyle easier for ya.
Congratulations!!
Keep up the good work
Thank you
Thank ya
I appreciate it
Welcome
Great job! Keep it up Taylor!!!
Thank you
I quit on November 1, and I can relate. Itβs a blessing to be turned off by the thought of it. For me, itβs probably because I had a brutal hangover the day I decided I was done. It sticks with me.
Yes. I completely agree
Keep on keeping on...you can do this. If you slip up, you just keep coming back. Every day is a new day. I am glad you feel repulsed my alcohol. If that continues, it should make things a little easier for you.
