That is true, we are never cured. We suffer from a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. We only have 1 day at a time to get/ and stay clean and sober. being in AA/ NA, it has taught me that I can not stay clean and sober by myself. Step 1 We, not I, admitted that we were powerless and that our lives have become unmanageable. Please know that recovery can be achieved by making meetings. Please make a meeting. After I relapsed, someone at the meeting heard me crying that I relapsed, he told me “ don’t worry, you don’t ever have to say you have one day back again”. Please know you are not alone.

Me too, I just keep picking myself up , over and over until it happens, I had 7 yrs clean until I tried too go back to FT job as a convenience store manager immediately after I finished chemo and was wiped out AF

What I’ve seen is that people can grow, build support, and live very full lives in recovery. Even you. 🫶 Staying connected and supported makes a big difference over time. You got this

Please get a sponsor and work the steps with them, see therapy and most importantly take care of yourself.
