I remember looking at my counter and it said 1 day sober, 2 days, 3 days, etc. and all I thought about was it is going by so slowly. Fast forward 3 weeks later and I am just under 5 days from saying I am a month sober. This Saturday, I may cry tears of joy. This is the longest I’ve been without alcohol in almost two years.
