One of my students asked me if I needed “an extra wink” today. This child recently learned how to wink and takes pride in his newfound skill. This seemingly small gesture filled my heart with gratitude. Children are amazing. The extra wink was the greatest gift.
Little player!
His winks consist of intentionally closing both eyes at the same time. It’s adorable.
Awe how cute
Sweet Awesomeness!
Sweet
My students make my hard days so much better!
They really do! And in the most genuine way. What age do you teach?
I teach children with autism so my age group is grades 3-5. What about you?
That’s amazing! I’m teaching preschool this year. I have so many questions, I’ve been thinking of going to back to school for special education.
It’s hard to I won’t lie haha. The paperwork is awful. But they are the best group of kids. They make me laugh non-stop and they are so wicked smart. A little too smart sometimes
If you have the heart and the patience for it, I say go for it. It is a difficult but highly rewarding job
I can imagine, it’s something I’ve been thinking about. I want to at least get further training to better aid my students who need some extra care. Thank you for sharing!
My daughter is a (SPED)teacher & she says her children r awesome grades 2-5
That's so awesome. Kids are simply amazing.
Lol... Sounds like he knows the assignment.
Agreed🙂
Let's bring back the wink! I love this.
Aww that would have made my day too!
Haha, normalize the wink.
