A second leads to a minute, a minute leads to an hour, an hour leads to a day. Had to repeat this many times in the beginning. You can do this.

@caylie376276 I did the same thing!! One day seemed too long, never mind an hour or minute. I took it 1 second at a time and got through the minute...then minutes..hour to hours, day to days. You do it however you need to. Don't let anyone tell you it's "not the right way". You know yourself best. Do it how you feel is BEST for YOU!
