One thing I do wish my treatment center had available for those who do not have the means to get there own.
Ibuprofen
Some people here have no family and no income.
Breaks my heart :black_heart:
The aches and pains you start to notice. Pay attention to once getting sober.
Luckily I had a hoard of un opened ibuprofen given to me by someone who left state. That along with many other random items, but we won't get into that lbs.
I was able to bring it in as a donation for the girls. :black_heart:

Ahhhh, you’re in treatment and they allowing a phone? Sneaking things into treatment is just like using in my book. Theory behind treatment is to change the old you. Not meant for comfort. At least not all the times I did it. And the times I did do treatment sneaking phones and other items in I never stayed sober upon leaving. Didn’t do that change everything. I’m old school tho. Odd they won’t give out ibuprofen tho. Lots of pains when getting sober. Well hope things work out for you then.

I appreciate you asking first. But than running on with an assumption? I have snuck nothing into my treatment center.. I was surprised as well.
First treatment center that allows us to do so. Its nice. To be able to speak with family more.

Was talking about other stuff. My bad. Had a feeling they were allowing the phone. I understand treatment centers are allowing this now. Like I said, old school here. No offense.

Also, hope you’ve deleted old numbers in it. That helps a ton to keep the past away.

Its actually brand new. No contacts! Thank God. Lol I can't message an ex or reminisce with old partying buddies I'm happy to say.
I also cut out all social media besides this app.
I am an alcoholic though so unfortunately even with deleted numbers. I can't forget about how many liquor stores are within even a mile radius from me. This is never going to be as easy as cutting off dealers. :frowning:
Either way. I am motivated and fighting for what I want :slight_smile: a better future

Very cool. You got a great attitude. Keep that positivity going. Hope things work out then. Learn the tools to get this new life in high gear. Sadly, temptations are everywhere now. Everything becoming legal and more and more locations to use are popping up. Hang in there.
