Online life coaching for women in recovery

Hi everyone I’m new here! My name is Jessica. I am a former special education teacher and currently a life coach for women in recovery. I’ve been sober since November 28, 2020 from alcohol.

For years, I outwardly appeared to be a driven, successful, professional woman while simultaneously struggling secretly with alcohol abuse.

After deciding to get sober in late 2020, I flipped the tables on my life. I relocated to the Tampa Bay area from Louisville, changed careers, and have seized all sorts of opportunities to build a life I don’t have to escape from. I now share my story and write openly about addiction as the rates of women drinking have spiked recently especially with the pandemic as a triggering factor for many. There are a lot of us struggling in secret, so my life goal is to remove the stigma so many successful women fight on a daily basis.

My practice, Bottomless to Sober, provides services to women in recovery who, given the opportunity at a second life, feel stuck and want support in making changes to live a happy and healthy life.

Thank you! It’s such a common story for women to outwardly be successful, career, motherhood, etc, while secretly struggling. An unfortunate reality for many of us. Thanks for connecting!

I'm in the area as well, and I do know someone that may be able to utilize your services.

You’ve helped me so much too. I’m grateful I’ve seen the turnaround sobriety gave you.

Ahhhh welcome to the dark side lol! Special Ed can definitely drive one to drink! Between the paperwork and just managing everything. It’s a lot!

It is. But I’m completely committed to my sobriety. I love my job too. There is a balance.
