Our deepest fear

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us....And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As weโ€™re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.โ€

My boss (who is also a mentor) sent me this passage to read and I found these lines in particular really powerful.

Celebrating a year sober :tada: and beyond grateful for the blessings and opportunities my sobriety has brought me. Also really proud of myself for putting in the hard work.

Still struggling with some self confidence and owning my strengths but I am, as always, a work in progress

Congratulations! It's nice to know I'm not alone, I don't articulate as well as you do but I'm thinking what you're thinking?:upside_down_face: work in progress?
