Stopped taking my addicitive medication over 8 months ago - coming up on 9 months tomorrow, it has been much more difficult to stop taking this med than stopping the alcohol. This med has helped me in many areas of my life - but its time I allow nature and my higher power to guide me so I am not dependent on drugs for the rest of my life...

It takes a lot of determination to learn how to grow in your in recovery without falling back on old habits. Love seeing this milestone.
