Any former Crystal Meth addicts on here? How did you get through the First year of getting clean, dealing with Post Acute Withdrawals, without loosing your mind and/or relapsing? Thank you!

It was tough. The first 6 months or so were dreadful. After that, I noticed slight improvements mentally and emotionally everyday. It does get easier. It just takes time...

I prayed, prayed, prayed some more did it help somewhat, all truths here. In my mind I wanted to use, I wanted to feel the burn then the high, went to meetings, wasn’t feeling it. Court mandated so I had to drug test wasn’t feeling it. But I did it. 4 days and I would have had a year I relapsed thought I had it all figured out. Well here I stand almost 4 yrs in my program and I’m so grateful that I stayed. I love my life today. Clean n sober. Gotta run. I have 2 commitments I Secretary an AA meeting, another NA meeting. Have a wonderful day everyone and remember you don’t have to you use today. It’s just a thought.
