Exactly a year ago was my first hospitalization due to pancreatitis. I am grateful a year later I am thriving and NOT spending this week (birthday week) in the hospital!

I had a nurse once (with whom I was discussing my experience with pancreatitis) tell me she has had it 3 times and had 4 kids. One bout of pancreatitis was during pregnancy so she couldn't medicate. She said she would rather have a 5th kid with no anesthetics. Pancreatitis hurts worse than child birth.
Just something else to remember while grateful for not having it.
Yeah that pain is no joke! I can’t imagine going through it without medication
