Parenting is hard. Parenting in recovery is harder. Parenting a mentally ill child in recovery is even harder. Am I missing one?

There’s comfort in knowing I’m not the only parent trying to stay sober and also take care of a kiddo that needs extra care and love. Sometimes it just feels like I’m stretching myself thin.
