Is there anyone here with a good chunk of clean time that is still paying for the past? Luckily I didn't get into any serious legal trouble but my soon-to-be ex-wife has some pictures and videos of me using over 10 years ago. My drug use stopped before my kids were born and she's trying to use all that against me with the case. Not looking for people to feel sorry for me I made my bed now I have to lie in it but it is a special kind of hurt because I know I did everything right for my kids and now this stuff is being used against me.

You can’t control the actions of other people unfortunately that’s how I get by.
Im pretty sure theres a statute of limitations on past crimes. In my state its 3 yrs. I have a soon to be ex wife too. Sometimes you gotta just let their emotions run the course. Pray for the best
No, you're right. There's no legal ramifications for my past misdeeds per se, but there is a lawyer appointed to see if I'm fit to have custody. So it's more of a character thing that they're trying to throw against me. And I hate to say it, but the dads don't always get the benefit of the doubt lol
