As a active alcoholic -addict my perspective was to the tip of my nose. Literally, if there was no angle from which I saw benefit or profit for me the person didn't really matter. AA and other twelve steps groups gave me life sobriety and a real perspective. My actions always affect other people. A simple smile or kind words can lift us out of our myopic view. Being of Service to a group can strengthen us internally and knit a community together.
I just wanted to Not use- not use drugs or people.. and Sobriety has given me/Us so much more.. Each step will give you Perspective...stay for the View....
