Is the full moon making anyone else want to self sabotage??
I'm not prone to relapse self sabotage, I have over 7.5 years sober.
But, my depression has spiked and maintained a high level since yesterday. So other negative thoughts and attitude come into play.
Uh, wut?
‘Sabotage’
Shawna, there i strong evidence that suggests that humans are a bit strange during a full moon…just ask any nurse that works in the emergency room…for people with an addictive brain this can be more pronounced….hang in there stop thinking so much and go to a meeting and share about where you are…Keith Kayle
There is only weak "evidence" actually. Just more "woo". Woo based on more superstition aka illusory correlation, so far. I'm not saying it is not true, I am saying that it has not been proven to be so. More along the lines of "agenticity".
It would be almost impossible to have a completely unbiased study since everyone knows or believes the myth of the full moon.
No studies have proven this other stuff you mentioned, regarding the ER or whatever though.

It’s just been my experience… which is fact… belief is something else all together… I’m not on here to debate with you or anyone else period… accept my wisdom or don’t..
