Totally will. I am still doing well thanks Shep. How about yourself? Had my first appointment in years today for a physical with my new PCP. Happy with the doctor I got. He was really nice and asked all about my addiction and how my recovery is going. He was very supportive and made me feel like today wasn’t the first time we’ve met by giving off a genuine feeling of respect and props for how I’ve been taking my recovery seriously and doing all these extra things and taking extra steps to give me the best chances of long term sobriety. Told him how therapist and I talked about trying some meds to help with depression and when talking about my smoking cigs I said I did want to quit and that maybe if the meds helped my depression I’d give it a go then. He surprised me when he told me there’s a med that actually does both of those at once 
I said that sounds pretty damn amazing lol so hoping to get started on that next week

How was your week?
Mike, that is great I stopped smoking years ago by switching to vaping. I reduced the nicotine amount over time. When I went to rehab, I left that behind. The doctor put me on Wellbutrin. It is good for smoking cessation and does not have the sexual side effects that many have. Not being able to have an orgasm is not fun. I am glad you are doing well. It is great you have a supportive doctor

Hmmm didn’t know some of the smoking cessation could cause sexual side effects too. Therapist said the same about some of the depression meds as well so hopefully can avoid that downer scenario. Wellbutrin is an antidepressant. It also helps with cravings. Not all men have that issue i mentioned earlier. For some a delay is a good thing. Anyway, you have a great weekend as well
How did the roast go?
Hey thanks for asking but ended up not going. Person I was going to go with ended up not being able to go do I ended up just working on my sisters deck over the weekend
