Plan of attack for multiple addictions?

Plan of attack for how to let go of multiple addictions? I’m an addict of alcohol, cannabis and nicotine. Just not sure how to stop all three without relapsing back into one.

Call me crazy (you won’t be the first) but imho ditching weed and booze simultaneously (under care of a dr or detox) and joining NA or AA is my suggestion. To you they seem like 2 wholly and completely different things. But are they?

They both numb you. Shut your brain off from the pain and trauma that you don’t know what else to do with. Cut them off and work on the reason you seek them in the first place. Reconcile the past so you can enjoy the present and look forward to whatever the world has in store for you.

Alcohol and cannabis first. Because it’s possible to just end up smoking more to replace alcohol. I’m day 1 of no nicotine and 7 days no alcohol. I don’t know why I love the day count.

Let go of the alcohol first. Don't worry about the nicotine and cannabis for now. Unless using weed causes you to want to drink alcohol. But I know I smoked more cigarettes after quitting alcohol. Maybe try AA or some other 12-Step program?
