Playing a couple gigs this month at a couple bars that includes any drinks and worries I might slip.. how would you go about cravings?

Early sobriety? Man, that's tough. Get a club soda with a lime twist. It'll look like a cocktail and you can focus on what, I assume, is true love of your life and play your musical behind off. Immerse yourself in that joy and forget all the other BS.

I think going in knowing it’s not IF you get triggered, but WHEN. So, you come prepared for the fight. Plenty of juice and tonic combinations that you can have in hand to replicate a drink without having one to avoid questions. Keep one above half full in your space at all times, so when asked if you need a drink, you can say you’re fine.
If you have the ability I would talk to the bartender or server working with you, give them a name of the mock tail you’re drinking or tell them that you are not drinking any alcohol tonight. So that way if someone wants to buy you a drink the bartender knows not to add any liquor to the drinks gifted to you.
Also, gum, candy, mints, an essential oil to smell, basically anything that can give you a sensory distraction to remind you that you’re ok.
Finally driving home/getting home may be even harder, because often we use alcohol as a reward system after a stressful situation. Have a plan! Mine was plenty of snacks (something sugary in the beginning), maybe a valerian root tea, or sleepy time tea, save a favorite show that you’ve been wanting to watch. It could be anything, but just have a plan.
