I am absolutely ready to reset and go back to i the road of recovery. However the last month has brought on a bunch of different issues which need to be deal with at their own pace. Due to this I am not able to check into a detox right now. However I DO NOT WANT TO WAIT To complete the detoxification process and get back on the Vivitrol shot. I do have access to some. Methadone which I can use sparingly to ween myself down. I haven’t been using excessively and it has only been a few weeks since I relapsed. I just want to be done with it NOW. I want to get back to living life. Has anyone ever successfully detoxed from opiates in this manner an can offer any suggestions please??? (Please note that I am aware that an actual facility is the best option, but let’s pretend we have no other options at this time).
