I am going to a doctor tomorrow to start Suboxone treatment .. haven’t been sober for more then 30+ days in 5 years and I’m 20. I’m so excited for this new chapter in my life. I just ask for prayers and support so I can see what being sober for a year feels and looks like on myself. God is good, I’m praying for you all as well. I live two hours away from Denver Colorado, so if anyone is close to me that knows about any meetings or online meetings I would love to join. I just moved here two months ago so I would love to make new friends also and it doesn’t matter where they are. I am a heroin fentanyl meth and Xanax abuser.. if u want to be friends or message me for anything let me know God Bless

Suboxone will keep you from withdraws and helps with the cravings
LuVay, I am not a doctor, or any kind of medical professional. I just want to tell you my experience with suboxone..I was on it for 3 years. Then I decided to stop it. I wanted an absolutely clear head and new life when I discovered I was going to be a Granma.
I tapered off the suboxone. I thought ...no problem I will taper off and be done. WRONG! I went through weeks of withdrawals. There is opioid in the suboxone. Its another way to string you out. I am now in the vivitrol program. I get one shot a month. No opioids, nothing in the injection to string you along. When you stop the shots, that's it, you don't go through any withdrawal period. The vivitrol blocks the receptors in your brain. The receptors that receive opioid high, or feeling of well being. The injection is for opioids and alcohol.
I have been on this program for 20 months. My life has changed considerably for the good. I am clear headed, am repairing family relationships, enjoy my grandchildren!
The choice is yours obviously. Before you begin the vivitrol injections, you must be free of all opioids and alcohol for 7-10 days.
That is the hard part. Once you start the injections, all cravings stop within hours!!
Its not for everyone, but it sure changed my life.
The drug name is VIVITROL.
You have to look up a vivitrol provider. It was also mandated by the government that Medicaid and Medicare are required to pay for the injection. Don't be told otherwise!

That’s great! Stick with the program! I’ve seen that medicine do wonders for many friends it works. Listen to your doctor stay in contact with him do not miss your visits. Stay strong proud of you 
coming your way. Put your mind to staying off the crap. It’s mind over mater. I suggest you find yourself a support group. Go to a meeting. Don’t be afraid to talk. Find some lady friends that are clean. Remember your not alone. It might seem like an uphill battle at this time. It just keeps getting easier. I learned how to love myself in the rooms of Na and AA. Now I can truly love other people. You might not think so at this time but you deserve it. Sometimes I think I’ve had to take it one step one second at a time. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change courage to accept the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
Just remember that hard times, struggle, and pain, can lead to amazing growth and perspective. Wishing you the best, you can do it!!!
