Solid advice.
Also, depending on where you work, you may have an employee assistance program, which typically operates outside or independent of HR. When I hit bottom, I reached out to my direct supervisor, whom I had a good relationship with. He immediately put me in contact with a counselor in my employee assistance program, and they were there for me every step of the way. Helped set me up with an intensive outpatient program, and even met with me in person or on the phone when I needed them.

I read this and thought wow that was ME. I drank every day all day in secret. Because every one thought I stopped. I personally think that you may need to be medically detoxed like I had to be. There is a way out it just takes a lot of work and you really need to want it. I pray you get the strength because your only outcome with be death. Believe me I witnessed that first hand not pretty.

First of All my friend stop calling it MY addiction that’s ownership you’re making room for it in your life. Words creates our life. I am heal, am free, am delivered from alcohol. I had to tell my family this when they call and check on me. My brother be like hey man how you and Your Alcohol doing. I had to put it straight with him understand. Then my one and only ex/ friend call and she said the same thing and I straight that with her. Am trying to be free from this I don’t want to be connected with it.My God bless you and all that read this 100
