Woman in the Mirror
Look at her, standing before you in the mirror. Do you see her? Who is she? She looks but she can not see who stands before her. Everyday that passes is filled with guilt, fear, and shame. Each and every one of her horrific experiences forever changed how she was able to view herself. Self-doubt, hatred, disgust, internalised. She stares back at herself as if looking at nothing at all. She feels so empty, so alone. Not a soul to trust... not even her own. She turns away disgusted with what she sees looking back at her. Tears fall down her cheeks. How will she ever not feel so empty. So torn to pieces. Will she ever feel "happy"? Will she ever love herself? Will she ever look in the mirror and see a woman worthy of love at all? She is Worth it! More then Worth it, and SO ARE YOU!! You girl are a Warrior! YOU have gotten YOU this far. You have fought your way all along the way. How does your Strength & Courage to get up everyday and try and try again not deserve self-forgiveness and most importantly self-love? You are more then worth it! Keep on Keepin on girl!! You, you got this! You will make it through this as you have made it though so much. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!!! NOTHING you did makes you deserving of the trauma you endured. You however are deserving of forgiving yourself. You have the strength with in you. You are a Beautiful Human. You most defiantly got this. Say it out loud as often as you need to, to hear you. Lets say it together.
