It feels good to look back now and see positive growth for me, and I am grateful. For me, Alcohol was something that I drank for various reasons and expected a benefit from it; Now I know that all the perceived benefits were illusions (some of them very strong), and I'm glad to have that poison out of my way so I can grow (growing is still uncomfortable sometimes of course) and become the man I want to be. There are many areas in which to develop and ways I want to improve, and dropping the poison was one good one that helps me in all other areas. We can all do this even if it's uncomfortable at times, and I'm glad to be doing this with you.
