I have a problem, my toxicology tests keep coming back positive for crack cocaine and I’m not using any crack cocaine or any other drugs. It’s really upsetting because I have a custody case, I’m fighting for regain custody off my only child. I welcome any and all advice. I am prescribed a list of medications, I don’t know if it’s one of my medications, but I need to find an answer. I have fought and continue to fight to stay sober and I don’t want this positive tox to cost me anymore than it has already.

I don’t know much about these toxicity tests and false positives. However, this is not a good look. We addicts are already not trusted. I’ve seen you post about this before. I’m not sure what the issue is, but if you aren’t using then you better get this figured out quickly. Do you have a primary care doctor? I’d go see him/her immediately

Update, I found out what was causing it, my roommate was actively using crack cocaine in our apartment, that’s why the levels were so low in my system. Unfortunately I have to stay in my room so I’m not exposed to it. Since I’ve stayed in my room, I’ve been testing negative.

Update they changed the lab that they work with and my tests are now negative

I would get a new roommate. If you hang out at the barbershop long enough you’ll get a haircut!

Only you would know see a Dr. Get a print out. Don’t trust anyone to bring you breakfast lunch dinner anything that might cause this Do not trust!! Do everything yourself keep a journal. Pray and trust the process.
