Praise Jesus!

Only 3 days clean and sober and really struggling with cravings, but Ive been able to vocalize them to my support instead of acting on them in secret! All praise, honor, and glory to Jesus for getting me through it!

He gets easier though the more we try the better it gets though I promise you man just have faith in God and just think about all the good things that you've done all your life when you was sober and your family and friends and people that support and love you

Chocolate and other sweets help with the cravings.

Great work fighting the cravings. Eating and staying full is a good way to counter act the cravings. There are medications as well, just ask your PCP (Naltrexone Vivitrol Disulfiram)

Sour patch kids worked for me.

Love this for you! Keep pressing through!

What are you doing for your recovery?
Not drinking or using without the 12 steps under your belt is just “untreated” alcoholism/ drug addiction. WE need a plan of Action and to get into the Solution.

To be successful……
•Get yourself to an AA meeting every single day without fail.
•Ask for help.
•Get a Big Book and read the first 164 pages.
•Find a good sponsor. Someone with long term sobriety, attends many meetings, has a God in their life, and you want what they have.
•Thoroughly work ALL 12 steps with your sponsor( that is the solution)

Then help another alcoholic….. nothing gives immunity from the first drink than helping another alcoholic. Best wishes :peace_symbol:
