any updates on the job?!
I was the perfect candidate for a job I originally wrote this post for. I mean spot on with Masters in Psych and Sales background. I heard crickets from them. I mean not even a rejection letter. Very weird. Not disappointed as I turned it over to God. What a reason to drink, right? But I didn’t. Kept looking and amazingly I got an offer for another position yesterday. It was a very tough interview process. And of course that DUI surfaces on every background check. Not a game changer ever, but so embarrassing. God had me with entire experience. I hope this is it my last stop on the job search for awhile. I apologize for no updates. I was going to post today! You beat me too it. Start Tuesday. Will share more as I get into the groove. Again, thank you for inquiring. Means a lot that someone cares! Wishing you a thankful, sober Thursday!

Wonderful news!!!! Clearly the first job was not the one for you 
DUI for me would kill my career in School Counseling, here in NJ at least. Thankfully I have always been pretty good about not doing it, especially with Uber BUT it’s another huge reason I need to stop drinking! The way my alcoholism has progressed so quickly scares me so much about what my drunken mind could decide to do that next time. Good luck with the new job
