Pretty sure I need a sponser. I’ll be asking about it at the meeting tonight. My associates don’t understand…..
I had a rough night. Cried. Kept crying this morning. Instead of going for a drink to feel better i went to a meeting. I feel alot better. I just know at times like this……I need someone to talk to. A fellow alcoholic specificlly. Have a nice day.
When I first got sober, my first sponsor told me I needed to go to meetings and ask women for their phone numbers. I was then to phone two women in the program every day. She was so smart she had to move away and I had an immense circle of women I could call. Today I still talk to 2 women in the program every day and interestingly it’s not me always doing the phoning. I have friends that call me too. I wondered what I should say when I called these women that I didn’t know and the same sponsor suggested I just asked them how they were and told them that my sponsor told me to call them. All the best in your sobriety, choose a sponsor who has what you want as far as a program and life of sobriety goes.
