Today would have been 7 months but because of my economic insecurity it's 1 month, still processing

Economic insecurity is big for me. I've lived a life as a squatter in a dwelling in February in NYC (Harlem) without electricity or heat for a few months. Not pleasant, and I learned a bunch about survival.
I'm glad you are back in and hope you are working a program. As you are processing I suggest to see what is something different you will do the next time this happens? Don't make it a list of 20 things, one or two. This makes manageable, and not overwhelming. Most people fail at New Year resolutions because the list is way long.
Also having a huge fear of economic security, when I got and stayed sober, I was able to make some income and in two months will be debt free - I was finally able to think clearly and come up with innovative ideas to save and make money, and eliminate unnecessary expenses including the alcohol - best of luck!
