Putting down the bottle and making the choice to change

Putting down the bottle and making the choice to change my life was the best decision i ever made. I cant help but feel that my days and weeks feel more like getting through the day then actually enjoying them. I mean ive created a routine that i like and im not craving a drink thinking this will fix it but i do notice my day comes and goes with no real passion. Maybe this will pass with time and when i gain more fredom back in my life things will change.

That "getting through it" feeling is real, and it's more common than people admit. Routine keeps you sober; it doesn't automatically make life feel good. Those are two different jobs.
I wouldn't wait on freedom to fix the flat feeling. More freedom means more room; it won't hand you passion on its own. That part you build the same way you build your routines, on purpose, probably through something that has nothing to do with recovery—a hobby, a person, a goal that's just yours.
What did you actually enjoy before drinking took over the schedule? Sometimes that's the thread to pull.
