Putting recovery first

So I got the job I wanted but it doesn’t fit into my recovery schedule so I turned it down. It wasn’t meant to be and I’m just allowing everything to fall into place . I will be where I’m meant to be live and let god .

I am so proud of you that you put your recovery first, that is the most important thing. Without you recovering, you can lose everything starting with your life.

So true. I’m changing everything I didn’t do before when I was in recovery I thought I had it then but we never have it fully recovery is a lifetime process and will always come first in my life as long as I want it to and want to live my life sober and free from all mind altering substances.
