It’s a disease, it might be hereditary, some can’t even get close to any alcohol for a while
Relapse takes place long before you pick up the first drink. Find some connections, make some adjustments to what your doing, and find some positive affirmations to wake up to. Today I'm not going to drink, I'll call a friend in recovery and go to a meeting. Build your support network and throw yourself into doing some service work. The more involved I am in my recovery the less I think about picking up a drink and remember a day at a time. Enjoy
