Really struggling today. I have my sobriety, so that is a plus and life is slapping me in the face as they say. I have been doing my best to make ends meet and things from 15 or so years ago are all of a sudden being reviewed on my background check. I could go into details, I won’t though. Can you get your records sealed? In Nevada, you can - 7 years after most felonies.
Not sure
I’ll check into that, thank you. Do you know if it costs to do that?
In Nevada it doesn’t, but there are some legal gymnastics. There is a group called Legal Aid that has step-by-step instructions and free seminars. I’m not sure about other states. Might be able to Google “how to…” in the area that you live.
