Has anyone reconciled with their ex after getting sober? We divorced due to our combined sickness. I'm now 10 months sober, he stopped drinking and is now in Al-Anon and we're working towards reconciliation after he works on his program.
Our child hates this idea.
My ex wife and I are on great terms. Our daughters are thrilled that we are civil. But as for a relationship beyond coparenting, nope. I can’t go back there.
It’s possible but have a general direction not a specific goal. Whether you reunite or not doesn’t mean you can’t learn about your side of the street more fully so you can grow spiritually emotionally and mentally.
I don't think we'd be here had I not done an inventory or amends list.
That's the only way in my mind.
I reconnected with my ex after some time clean. Made my amends. I overdosed in her house before I got clean and were now very good friends.
