Another reason that I am glad to be sober: it is easier to connect with others! I heard separately from two individuals in a couple at a wedding this weekend that it was good to get to spend time with me now. I was too stoned at their wedding to be present. The female said, “I always thought you didn’t know who I was/like me.” It was nice to tell her that I liked getting to know her more now.
Does anyone else feel like it is better to make connections when sober?
