In person AA/NA meetings really helped. Getting sponsored and doing the 12 steps thoroughly helps tremendously.
Boredom is not something I can do. I get constructive in my sobriety.
I’m here if you want to talk or have any questions

Micro dose yourself with happiness...like .. music, walking, silly dance, make a greatful list. Pause . Learn to sit with your discomfort...it's your body fighting to heal. I like to go to YouTube and find videos on coping skills ..feed your brain a different substance

Just like everyone said, meetings, take phone numbers and call someone. Don't worry if you think you are going to "bother" someone, that's what we are here for!

I started diamond art! It works really well for redirecting the brain. It keeps hands busy as well. I have anxiety as well and it relaxes the anxiety as well. I think of my positive achievements since Sept 24, 2025 was my clean date

Remembering why I got sober and not wanting to disappoint my kids family and myself...... took me many years to get back what I lost long ago which was everything I just said.. . Not willing to lose them again or lose myself again

The one's that need you will wait for you. Just do you.

You're going to hear do 90 meetings in 90 days A LOT. Mostly, cuz it's a good suggestion. 12 step groups can be a bit clique-ish, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Get connected. Find people that will, organically, keep your mind off it. Use your phone list. You have to be proactive if you want to stay clean. I mean, you don't HAVE to be. You can be as passive as you like. It does tend to make life drag a bit.
