Recovery introduced me to a version of social situations I had never actually experienced sober before and honestly it was a lot to take in at first. What was your first big sober event like?

There are a small number pot luck meals I attended including one for friends giving. Due to my homes kitchen situation I bought and brought a charcuterie board. What I experienced was good people, good conversations and good food and entertainment. We played simple card and board games rather than bar games like pool, darts, beer pong, etc. They were amazing!
