Since March 21st,2022 my life has changed that was the day I stopped drinking I haven’t looked back since, today I feel great to be clean and sober I’m growing and glowing into something I couldn’t have imagined just thankful to be alive, it’s a trial of time I lost everything to get here today. Looked out for people who betrayed me I harbor no illwill I let it go, back at home with my mom in my old neighborhood, I still work at my job at Batteries+. Starting over is never easy, attending meetings 3 times a week, talk to my therapist, my sponsor and pray to God more. I’m not perfect never will be I don’t want a perfect life just a life worth living. Recovery is bringing me a life and there is no turning back for me only forward.
