Relapse

This was me on day 65. I drank on May 5th. My heart is heavy & even though friends & family say they understand…I know they can’t.
Today I start back at day one. I know I’m stronger now then ever.
I can do this.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Do something today that will help lead to your goal. It is a long journey but you will get there.

You can! What doesn’t serve you, you have the power to let go and that will leave room for you to grow. Relapse is a huge part of my story and god willing will have 2 years in July. You got this.

I love your comment Darby,”I am diving back into my AA steps”!!!
My sponsor used to tell me,”when it gets tough, throw yourself into steps”! It works, it most definitely does!!!
Don’t leave before the miracle happens!!!

Our mistakes and our setbacks are what we learn by.Dont be hard on yourself you got back up and dusted yourself of. Now keep on keeping on.You got this girl.

I’m ready for it!

Thank you so much!

Going 65 days proves you can do it one day at a time. You are on the right track seeking fellowship here and AA. I am praying for you and we’re all rooting for you!

I've relapsed more times than it's worth counting. But I keep trying and that's what matters. Just stand up, dust yourself off and move forward. We love you and want the best for you. Keep coming back.

Thank you for the kind words

You slipped on a step. Just get back up and keep climbing the stairs. Anyone can trip. The key is to get back up and keep climbing

I believe you lapse, not relapse it two different meaning, We all have , I used this technique it's called PAW , post acute withdraw, figure ouv what triggers you my love . You got this nobody better

As hard as it may seem you’ve already proven that you are strong enough so you can definitely do it again! Just keep reminding yourself of your end goal.
