Darby I am 63 I have struggled with achahol since the age of 17, every time I would get in trouble because of drinking I would quit drinking, first time it was 7 years, my mind told me you don't have a problem. I would start again, no problem at first, a beer here whiskey here to a point where I was drinking all the time, boom got in trouble quit again 5 more years sober then I would try it again, same result. I could never drink like other people, why??? So this time I will have 3 years sober on June 13th, my point is I never committed defeat, this time I know I will never beat this addiction no matter how I try. Never give up on sobriety, I'm not going to say I beat it but I'm not trying to beat it anymore, that gives my brain peace of mind. I can live sober
