Relapse

I'm abusing my antianxiety meds and I want to stop and be. Able to go anywhere without having crippling anxiety!

Christie, you’re not alone. Many of us including me have been where you are at.
I had to get medically detoxed.
Once I did, I was able to get serious about my sober program. As I worked my program and became a member in the sober community I got stronger, calmer and life got easier and better.
Detox was several days. The best thing I did in a really long time.
I’m here if you want to talk or have any questions.
I’m praying for you🙏

I completely understand I have been there with anxiety it took me allot of practice cause I had severe socal anxiety and I had to make myself uncomfortable to become comfortable if that makes sense a little but at a time for example I went to Walmart and just to get hygiene and I woke up in the hospital because I had a severe panic attack being around so many people at one given time so what I had to do is like go to the parking lot sit in the car and then I went back to the parking lot got out of the car and then again to go to the front of the store and then again in the store for like 5 minutes or less and then slowly next time walk and get what I needed like only went there for one or two things it takes 28 days to make or break a habit even with mental health I was on a lot of mental health medicine and I'm not on anything else
