I relapsed and got caught/came clean with the wife. Pretty sure she wants to divorce me. I’m terrified. Anyone to talk to would be helpful
Have you had a conversation with her? Or just blurt out you drank? Relapse is common when first getting sober. It’s not easy to go cold Turkey and just be done. The first few months my wife thought I was just lying about getting sober. She thought I was playing a long con on her for some reason. It took a lot of talking, and SHOWING her I was serious about it. Going to meetings, doing the step work, being a part of the family.. all things thy helped me. Until you know what is happening for sure, don’t be fearful. That fear is a gateway to another relapse.
