As I have heard from others Keep trying. I relapsed multiple times in the past and felt down and wanted to give up but I did not with the help others.

You are not that person anymore and you're head is determined to show you otherwise, it is a blessing that you it made it back or even better that you even wanted to, you are exactly where you are supposed to be. :hugs::hugs: Even with some time that mind has prevented me from living life I promise it does get better :heartpulse::heartpulse:

I can relate. I’ve been trying for many years and I’ve relapsed many times. I’m currently on day 8 and I’m focusing on one day at a time. I don’t know anyone who got it on the first attempt. Hang in there.

Sobriety, for me, was not and is not linear. Sometimes it was 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

If it were easy, it wouldn't be called addiction! If you use the Big Book in your recovery - there is one line that stands out above all else. Page 20.

Our very lives, as exproblem drinkers, depend upon our constant thought of helping others.

If I am simply able to keep that thought alone in the forefront of my mind, I'm pretty sure the rest of my life will be full of happiness.

It’s a part of the journey. Get up, dust yourself off and get back to it. Be mindful of where your potential triggers are and plan accordingly :+1:t5:

Sobriety is not linear. All the hard work you’ve put in still counts and still exists.

Don’t beat yourself up. Progress not perfection
Don’t let the shake stop you from starting over tomorrow. Relapses happen .. but so does recovery. U can do it
