Relapsed ugh

I relapsed a couple of times like an idiot.
Feeling hopeless, even though I did't hit a rock bottom or hurt anyone in my life, I need to quit for health and weight management.
Anyone been in a similar situation?

Yeah i just relapsed for the third time. This time I was 5 months sober and I've had longer time before. Don't be hard on yourself and focus on your hobbies. Exercise helps a lot too

We’re not perfect, we’re learning to survive. Don’t beat yourself up. Tomorrow is another day.

I haven't relapsed but I would say give yourself some grace and learn from it and do something different this time reach out before it happens build a strong support group

I was told planning the drink proceeds the drink. A drink doesn't appear in my hand in thin air. My arm doesn't move involuntarily and the puzzle (i didn't drink like a gentleman) wasn't a reflex. I had to make a conscious decision to drink.

I had to have the gift of desperation to change and do some simple things that are brave. I can't get or stay sober on my own. I definitely got drunk on my own.

I'm a high bottom alcoholic with a long list of yets. No DUI, didn't kill anyone, job, this could all change without working a program.

My hope is you try something different to get a new tesult.

Thank you all!

I had 11 days clean and my husband keeps bringing drugs and alcohol home. I don't know what to do. He is going to kill us if he keeps on.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it seems you need to get away from your husband somehow if he is doing that.
